schematic setup

The Miniature Particle Absorber consists of a module that is attached to the flue pipe and a control unit. A line connects these components. The control unit is plugged into a standard AC line outlet.
The flue pipe needs to be made of conducting material - ideally several meter of stainless steel pipe with a diameter between 120 und 250mm..

The parts that are inserted into the flue pipe are mounted on a usual lid that can easily be fixed to the pipe. The sketch illustrates the setup within the flue pipe. In the centre of the pipe there is the electrode wire, which facilitates the elctrostatic charging of the dust particle within the flue gas.A flow of clean air keeps the insulator free of deposits and avoids any overheating of the insulator.
